About the project
Over the past 7 years, I’ve been challenged by tech companies to illustrate abstract concepts such as: API, Fault domains, NAT Gateway, Hyper-V Workloads SaaS/PaaS/IaaS….
At first, as a designer, I wasn’t familiarized with some of these terminology. For someone with a non-technical background, seeing this is, is like reading a different language.
As time went by, I developed processes and techniques to conceptualize digital products or services.
I shared some of these formulas that facilitates visual problem solving during Oracle CloudWorld 2022, La Vegas at the Caesars Forum.
We audit 40 developer homepages from top tech companies, all of them work with Fortune 500 clients and even some are listed on the stock exchange. As we analyzed their performance metrics, we were in shock to know that only 2 out of those 40 passed the test. We concluded that some of those numbers could improve if we follow some best practices between Developer-Designer, which we shared throughout the talk.
As a result, our site had an increase of almost 300% of its performance vs the audited sites and was better aligned to modern trends and visual digital values.
